I am going to confirm with Cosentyx on Monday, but it seems a reasonable thing. This will solve the problem because then everything Cosentyx pays goes to my deductible / copay. This seems super shady to me because I didn't realize this until I figured it out. I really want Express Scripts to tell me where I'm wrong. Any of you can also if you know more about what's going on here. Let me pause a moment to say I'm fine if I have to pay the full OOP every year. I'm grateful for the coverage I have. I don't want to appear greedy, but I also don't want to pay $$ I don't have to. I need the biologic because I am fully disabled with palmoplantar if I don't have it. So this is not me really complaining if I have to pay more. I do have an issue because it seems a scheme by the insurer to pad profits until people figure it out. This is why I'm sharing this post in case any of you get the same letter. What am I going to do? Call Express Scripts and confirm my reading of the letter and the practical outcomes from it.
